  • Attendees must have basic operational familiarity with SQL Server Management Studio.
  • Attendees are encouraged to have real-world .NET Framework development experience.
  • Attendees are encouraged to have basic operational familiarity with Visual Studio.

This event targets professional software developers who consider themselves SQL Server early adopters.

  • Primary Audience
    • Application developers responsible for application source code development
    • Database developers responsible for database programming
  • Secondary Audience
    • Architects, DBA’s and Service Professionals who are familiar with database application development.

This event is not designed for sales, marketing and management professionals. Professional software developers with the following expectations may not benefit from participating in this event.

  • Developers who are already familiar with Microsoft SQL Server BI solution development and/or Microsoft SQL Server Code Name “Denali”.
  • Developers whose primary interest is developing tools which require deep integration with SQL Server internals (e.g. compilers, backup and storage management, network management, diagnostic and repair utilities, etc.).
  • Developers who are primarily interested in learning how to migrate an existing solution to SQL Server from another database platform.
  • Developers who do not wish to learn how to deeply exploit improvements in the next major release of SQL Server.
